They may as well have said “we produced the Galaxy Tab but haven’t really been trying that hard. It was just about good enough and kinda competed with the iPad launched 6 months earler. It’s only when Apple push the limits further with iPad 2 that we’ll try a bit harder.”

It’s precisely because Apple almost never ships a product that is just ‘good enough’ that they are dominating, first wth the iPod, then the iPhone, now the iPad. Don’t companies get that?…
