Google Reader users will no-doubt have heard that the service is shutting-down on 1 July 2013 (see http://support.google.com/reader/answer/3028851). Here’s a really useful article covering what you should do before 1 July, and your options for alternatives:

It’s probably worth waiting a while to see how things work-out. I never actually read in Google Reader (awful UI), but use it purely as a subscribe and sync tool, so I have the same feeds on my Mac, phone and tablet. I use Reeder to actually read on my Mac, phone or tablet, and I’ll bet Reeder and other apps will be updating themselves to use another sync source before Google Reader disappears.
