This article in MacWorld says something I’ve been thinking about a lot recently – most (all?) companies just aren’t willing to invest the resources necessary to compete with Apple. This is all the more evident this week with HP giving up on it’s TouchPad after 3 months of poor sales.
This isn’t some great secret that other companies can’t see. It isn’t a lack of finance, or people, or time. It’s a lack of courage.
If other companies don’t have the guts to innovate with vision and invest what it takes, then they deserve to be routed in the market and certainly don’t deserve to get my money. I’ll continue being an Apple ‘fanboy’ whilst using my MacBook Air, iPad and iPhone. They aren’t perfect, but at least Apple is willing to try.
Why can’t Windows PCs catch up to the MacBook Air?
